Standing Seam “Classic”

Standing Seam “Classic” is designed for roofing applications. It allows natural ventilation of the roof space. Sheets with a DR!PSTOP anti-condensation coating are also available. This coating helps prevent moisture from accumulating in the thermal insulation layers and reduces roof noise.

The panels are manufactured from high-quality steel and feature the Classic design on the exposed surface.

• During the installation and use of standing seam roofing panels, waviness may occur on the flat surfaces of the sheets, regardless of the sheet type. The sheets may follow the contours of the roof substrate. Waviness is a common phenomenon associated with the manufacturing and installation processes, thermal expansion of the sheets, and light reflection. Standing seam roofing panels must be installed on a carefully prepared and levelled substrate in accordance with the installation instructions. Using a matte finish can also help reduce the visual effect of waviness by minimising light reflection. An additional cutout option for the folded edge is available to increase the rigidity of the lower edge of the standing seam panel and minimise transverse waviness.
• Noise from standing seam roofing panels in windy conditions is also a common phenomenon. To reduce this effect, sound-insulating (damping) tape, a structured underlay or other suitable materials can be used.
• For products measuring 4,000 mm or longer, loading and unloading must be carried out exclusively on pallets.
